This morning I came across this interesting Business Week article which highlights the difficulty in accurately measuring web traffic as there are many sources of distorsion.
In some web 2.0 models, the higher the traffic the greater the advertising revenues you may get, but what if your figures are misleading ?
Well, with e-commerce at least you don't have that kind of trouble : sales and gross margin figures speak for themselves and that's what matters. Back to basics !
