Apple's iPods in the Center Stage !

While the market was falling down yesterday monday with the bad news from Walmart and the negative article on Google by Barron's, Apple was shining and hit an intraday all time high above $93, before retreating amid broad market sell-off.

The reason being that iPods are selling like hot cakes these days !

Apple claimed 5 of the top 10 spots on the list of most purchased consumer electronic items sold  through Amazon.com (a very good observation desk !) and 10 of the top 25 spots ! The best selling item on Amazon was the 2Go silver Nano (true, it's so cute !).

In contrast, Microsoft's Zune came only n°75, trailing for example Apple's $29.99 iPod USB adapter, a mere accessory. But geeks seem to like the Zune as you can see here...
