Another one asleep, at Herald Square (9:10AM) ! People work hard over here, sometimes with 2 jobs at once, no unemployment security as we have in France - with the abuses one may regret as I mentioned here, and employees seeking to be fired !

Comme l'année dernière, je me ferai demain mon (tout) petit challenge à moi : prendre des photos du vainqueur à au moins 3 moments différents, et les mettre en ligne dés 11h environ: au départ sur les Champs Elysées, au km 30 vers le Trocadero et vers le km 36 dans le Bois de Boulogne.
La chaleur ne sera pas de mise cette année, les chronos des participants, qui en avaient souffert en 2007, devraient s'améliorer (ils étaient de 15' en sous la moyenne du marathon de Paris).
Le moment où la foule des coureurs me fonce dessus en bas des Champs est particulièrement amusant !

Another photo with no artistic pretention, but I was lucky enough to cross Colombus Circle with my Canon 400D ready at the very moment a red Vespa was driving by. Nothing relevant in Paris or in Italy, but in Manhattan scooters are a very rare species, especially with this flashy red !
The color contrast with the yellow/orange cab is nice and if you pay close attention you will notice that the driver wears red gloves !
Well, I'm supposedly at the crossing between 52nd Street and 6th Avenue, but call it the way you want !
Should I ask a New Yorker "where's the Cousin Brucie way", I'm not sure he would know !
Samsung is a great company with great innovations, esp in the cellphone segment. But on that enormous electronic display atop Times Square, they don't show any great deal of imagination and creativity. Thank you Apple !
There aren't many scooters and motorcycles here in NYC, which is pretty good for the general sound level, much lower than the one in Paris !

Amid the raging Presidential campaign in France, how about building a giant screen displaying the total national debt and the per capita amount ? One addition to the New York City idea would be to indicate how it would move with Sarko's and Sego's hot promises !
