Last time I gave a good restaurant address was about a year ago in Tel Aviv where the Manta Ray really impressed me !
Well, my wife and I yesterday evening enjoyed a great moment at the Citrus Etoile, right off the Champs Elysées in the 8ième Arrondissement of Paris (where the bulk of VCs are, thank you Chausson Finance for the mapping !).
Food was fresh, delicious, light (important for me as you know !) and creative, service perfect, and price reasonable considering the quality.
The Chef, Gilles Epie, received his first Michelin star when he was only 22, spent some time in Japan then 10 years in Los Angeles at the most famous local French restaurant there, l'Orangerie (guess where he found the name of his restaurant, Citrus !).
We were surrounded by Americans which gave us kind of impression to have traveled to the US ! Over the years, Gilles Epie acquired some fame there, and his charming wife, Elisabeth, is American. Besides, she's an ex Elite top model, which brings some glamour to the restaurant !
We will definetly come back soon !

Next time you come to Tel Aviv, i ll advise a true fantastic restaurant. Manta Ray is good. But probably too touristic in my view

Located in the shouk Carmel area in Tel Aviv, I do confirm that Manta Ray is great for Jewish yemeni food. But for the best Hummus, just go to Yaffo (Southern Tel Aviv). It's so good! Go there before 1pm because they run out of Hummus at around 1pm. Shortcoming: nothing fancy, you eat whilst seating on the stairs or in the street in front of the restaurant. Great food, great people, great atmosphere.
By the way, going to l'Orangerie in LA is quite a nice experience as well, though slightly..different));
