I've just read this morning that Sam Walton was 44 when his first store somewhere in Arkansas !
I shall turn 44 soon, that gives me an idea, create the new Walmart !
If you had placed $1000 on his then tiny company in 1970, that no one knew at the time, you would now be sitting on $5 Million ! x5000 in less than 40 years...
Ok, you may think that it's easy to say now but at the time, it was highly risky.
Well, I would disagree. Once again I have to insist on something : a well run burgeoning retail chain, with driven but conservative and money conscious owners that own a significant portion of the company, in a market offering a large potential, displaying solid metrics (free cash flow, square footage revenue growth, comp store sale), is NO risk !
