I didn't have the time to comment on it the other day, but I guess Barack Obama's landslide victory in Iowa is a clear sign that he's not a lightweight, at all !
In this small conservative Midwest State, where there are relatively few black people, his 10-point lead victory is all the more meaningful.
We all knew he was a terrific speaker and very smart, but he now obviously has demonstrated that he knows how to handle a successul campaign and that he has the political toughness to succeed. He downplays his toughness by looking as the nice guy, but he's definetly a political killer.
Given his victory in Iowa, we can now expect the Clinton camp to aim its gun at him, and probably all sorts of tricks, including dirty ones, to come out soon !
On the Republican side, it's quite amazing that underdog Mike Huckabee, a former Baptist minister, very easily beated rival billionar Mitt Romney despite being dramatically outspent by the former Massachusetts governor.
With the Obama and Huckabee's victories, it seems that a clear signal for change has been sent to Washington and the nation.

Le momentum de Obama est indéniable, mais je reste étonné du revirement aussi radical et soudain des américains.
