Muddy Waters annonce d'ailleurs clairement la couleur au début de leurs rapports:
"You should assume that as of the publication date of any report, Muddy Waters, LLC (possibly along with or
through our members, partners, affiliates, employees, and/or consultants) along with our clients and/or investors has a short position in the stock (and/or
options of the stock) covered herein, and therefore stands to realize significant gains in the event that the price of stock declines"

Thks buddy investor !

je viens de relire l'excellent livre de synthese des lettres aux actionnaires de warren buffet qui comprend un chapitre sur l'importance entre valeur de marché vs valeur d'entreprise. ca permet de prendre du recul face à ce "fare west"!

Rires. La Bourse ou la vie ?

Michel,

Having alerted your blog readers about the risk in some of these chinese microcap stocks, what due diligence have you done for yourself, as an investor in your favorite chinese microcap, China Ceramics Co., Ltd. (CCCL) ?

Regards,

Khanh

Hi Khanh, good question !

I've done a limited due diligence, asking some friends in China to investigate the awareness of the brand, so as to check there really are some physical assets and business behind the numbers.

As it can only be a limited due diligence, I very strongly urge anyone to only allocate a VERY SMALL PORTION of one's portfolio/wealth into each individual Chinese microcap. Maybe 2% is already an awful lot.

And if you want a basket of Chinese Microcaps, and if you are not risk adverse, I would recommend a basket of say 10 Microcaps for say 8-10% of your portfolio. But that would really be the maximum I would recommend for someone niot in China and able to qualify the risk

There are, there must be, some good Chinese microcaps with great potential, but I'd say it's extremely tough at this point to select the great ones from the others !

For most people, tt's really like investing in the dark, something that no one should ever do, unless considering stock eschange investing like a casino game.
